    Welcome to the Windy City

    I got to join two PES Key Account teams in Chicago for a few days of sales calls and exploring. We did A LOT of walking, which I didn't mind because we did A LOT of eating, too. Our first night, we dined on traditional Chicago deep dish pizza and Lou Malnati's. At midnight we found ourselves underdressed for the occasion, walking for 45 minutes in dear freezing temperatures. After a few sales calls, I took the team on walk around the city. Yes over 17, 000 steps and counting.

    Practice Makes Perfect

    I made it home from France yesterday and I couldn't wait to show off my new skills to Tina, Mommy, Daddy, and Talal. The dishes that I learned to make in France were not foods that I would typically make, nor enjoy eating. Instead, I made my own meal with my favorite tastes. The first course was an Orange-Beet Salad. The salad consisted on orange segments soaked in sugar, fresh orange juice, and apple cider vinegar.     Southerleigh

    After a long, exhausting day at Sea World, Talal and I showered and walked (ran) over to the River Taxi. As Daddy had recommended, we purchased a ticket to ride the river from one end to the other. It was a soothing and serene hour-long journey. We caught our breath and relaxed as the sun slowly began to set. Near the end of the trip, we went through a canal lock that pushed water in and pushed us up to the higher water level.
