Like my Daddy taught me

Updated: Jul 21, 2020

Yesterday, Daddy and Tina went to the store and came back with 2 packs of pork ribs. Tonight, Tina had dinner plans and Daddy and I were flying solo, since Mommy went to Lebanon.

We pre-heated the oven to 450 degrees. I placed all the ribs on a cookie sheet. Both sides got an even coating of Adam's Reserve Pork Rub, coarse sea salt, and a light drizzle of honey. I baked the ribs for 12 minutes on each side. Daddy and I liberally poured some BBQ Sauce on the ribs and left them for another 15 minutes.

The high heat and the barbeque sauce lent for crispy caramelized ribs. What was purchased for me, Talal, and Daddy... was enough for just the two of us.

It was my first time making ribs. I asked Daddy if I was supposed to put any oil and he said, "no, because they have enough fat." Once we finished eating, (they were crispy and delicious) Daddy reminded me that he knew how to make ribs, thus "Like my Daddy taught me."
