I bought this tiny, beautiful pot of chives from Whole Foods the other day. It has been gingerly waiting for its time to come - the big harvest.
Lunch today would be the day. I sliced a beautifully ripened avocado, sliced some tomatoes and broke a few pieces of quest fresco. I drizzled oil over the vegetables and seasoned with salt and pepper before covering the entire salad with a generous helping of chives.
