If you told me last year that I would be taking the time to nurture a small, but growing herb garden in my practically non-existent backyard, I would have thought you were a little misguided.
Now, with my tiny herbs - some doing better than other (RIP to the spearmint plant) - I think there is something so beautiful about nurturing and caring for something while there is so much destruction in the world. As much as I love food, it's not even about eating these herbs. It's about having a purpose and adding a little beauty back into the world.
