Love at first bite

Updated: Jul 21, 2020

For Valentine's Day, Talal decided to surprise me for dinner. I mean I knew we were going to dinner, but not where. We went from City Centre to his house to get dressed and came right back to City Centre. When I first walked in, the restaurant wasn't what I expected. It was orange, black and and nice grayish wood with a balls of light coming from the ceiling.

The waiter shows us a beautiful cutting board of impressive meats and tells us the specials. At first, the waiters seemed too involved in the experience, but they started to give us some space. We opted for the Valentine's Day 4-course meal. My meal was Crab Claws, Potato & Leek soup, the Bife de Lomo with mushrooms and decadent mashed potatoes, and the Creme Brûlée. Now when I say the mashed potatoes were decadent, I mean it was nothing compared to the Creme Brûlée. As described in the menu - Dulce de Leche cream custard. As described by me - silky, smooth, heaven, perfection. By far the best I have ever had!

Thanks toot for a delicious dinner!
