Killen It

Updated: Jul 21, 2020

After an early-morning golf class with Ike, Talal and I walked around the park until we built up our appetite. At twelve, we arrived at Killen's and OH MY GOODNESS! There was a line down the street to the corner. An hour and fifteen minutes later and 4 free beers for Toot, we amde it to the counter to order. I got the pork ribs, brisket, coleslaw and macaroni and cheese. Talal decided to add in an extra meat - the beef rib. It was enormous and expensive. Overall, the entire meal was extremely delicious. My favorite was the pork rib. Talal's was the beef rib. All of the meats were crispy and smokey. The spices formed a crust in the smoker that was so amazing on the meat. The sides were goo, yet ordinary.

All in all, I would return if I was in the mood for some good barbeque and with nice weather. If I didn't have 2 and a half hours to spare, I would stick to Goode Co.
