After I returned from Canada, Mikey and I scheduled some time to catch up. No matter what’s happening in our lives, Mikey and I always spend hours hanging out and getting caught up. So, we picked a great spot where we could chill for a little while.
HVing been there not too long ago, we went to Postino in the Heights. It opened about 4 months ago and it’s been popping ever since- brunch, lunch and dinner. We showed up and, as expected, we had a long wait. We strolled around and got called back almost immediately. But Mikey still managed to find the time to buy a pair of short shorts.. haha
When we sat down, we knew immediately what to order. We got the Brie-Honey-Green Apple, Smoked Salmon-Pesto-Caper, Mascarpone-Date-Pistachio, and Mozzarella-Basil-Tomato bruschettas. A slice for Mikey and a slice for me. Since Talal and I have been dieting hard, this was a guilty pleasure, but I tried to take it easy so I don’t undo al the healthy food I ate this week.
