Many years ago, Tina decided to make gnocchi at home. She spent hours making it and although it was tasty, it wasn't my favorite dish. The texture was too soft (which is normal I guess), so I decided to pass on gnocchi. Fast forward a few years and I tried gnocchi at a restaurant in the Woodlands. It gave me renewed hope in gnocchi.
From then on, I told myself that I should try making gnocchi. As far as I could tell, it looked great. I topped them with cheese and crisped prosciutto after sautéeing the cooked gnocchi with butter and red pepper flakes.
I'm still not convinced that gnocchi is my favorite dish, but I'm learning that I'd rather eat it out so it doesn't taste like flour like mine did.
