He Didn't Think I Could Do It

As is tradition every holiday season, the Sales Excellence Institute team picks a restaurant and celebrates the end of another semester and the end of a great year. Of course, there are a few of us who really appreciate a fine meal and trying new spots. Amy and I spent a few days finding a restaurant that would be suitable for our large group. She picked Ibiza and it looked great! I love lamb and my eyes gravitated right to it on the menu. When the lamb shank was placed in fr

    The One That Surprised Us

Today I made an unphotographed masterpiece. It's been one of those less-rare weeks where I have too much food for the week and equally ambitiously plans to make new meals. We started the week off with a fridges filled with cooked salmon, kusa, plenty of produce, pasta salad, extra pasta, and 15 Fage yogurts. It's finally Thursday, and I need to make some fresh dinner. Earth to Yara

For the first time ever, I decided that I felt like making lamb. Not just any lamb, lamb meatballs. Why? No idea. I got 2 pounds of lamb and dumped them into a bowl, thinking that it should feed us for more than 1 meal. To that, I added a heaping tablespoon of red tomato paste for smoothness and richness, ground caraway, garlic powder, fresh oregano leaves, dried mint, and salt. Greek flavors, since I wasn't sure what else matched ground lamb. I rolled them into balls and pla

    Discovering South End

Today was our last day in Boston and a very busy one, too. Tina and I heard from our Uber driver last night about the South End. After talking to our concierge, it seems like a local's area and relatively undiscovered by tourists. Just like that, we set out with our paper maps to be trailblazers. It was the coldest day by far and I attribute it to the wind. Tina and I found tons of cute shops- selling clothes, teas, jewelry, and more. I loved all the cute places we passed on
