Before our big meeting at Delta Airlines HQ in Atlanta, Colton, Mehzabeen, Farhin Lynn and I wanted to load up on a big breakfast as we finalized our strategy for the meeting. We bundled up and got ready to take on the day. We walked the few blocks to the Ritz-Carlton and ordered a hearty breakfast. 'Twas a ritzy morning! Once upon a time, Mira and I decided that we should meet up regularly. Of course, with every good fairytale, something got in our way... a little thing called LIFE. We'd see each other at other events and realize that months had gone by. Once you realize that it's easy once you have something on the books, you'll see more friends. Trust me. Whether we stick to a consistent schedule or not, I know we'll have a great time regardless. For our second brunch, we visited Emmaline.
Out of nowhere one day, I thought to make a Salmon Bowl, inspired by Erica Batterman's Bowl Obsessed Instagram. She always has these delicious, colorful meals that make your appetite roar. I knew that I wanted to make a salmon with a crispy skin. In addition to that, I'd need something fresh, something acid, and something with a different texture. I looked up the menu, perfect- something. Tina would eat. Talal and I arrived early and so we grabbed a drink at
Since I am obsessed with The Pearl, I wanted to make one stop by the farmer's market. I could get used to this tradition. We strolled around and bought quite a bit of goodies - mushrooms, duck eggs, cheese, jam, and honey. Let's just say, it was a successful errand. Before we hit the road - treasures in hand, we needed to stop for lunch. What better than Hotel Emma. It was right around the corner and definitely piqued our interest. We entered to see a very Pearl-esque restau
We celebrated Tammy's birthday all week. We went all out! We had cake for breakfast, played Bingo, decorated her office, and went out to lunch. Friday morning was tough after my bad loss at Bingo the night before. Luckily, we planned a birthday lunch for Tammy. Technically, we just used Tammy's birthday as yet another excuse to eat out. Tammy chose Little Liberty in Rice Village. It popped up out of nowhere. Ok, technically it replaced Ruggles, but that's besides the point. I
